The front desk problem was clear.

Founded in Nashville in 2023 by healthcare operators, Octozi is the back-office agent we wished existed.

Nashville is a healthcare operations hub, a good place to obsess over better-running clinics.

Paperwork takes clinicians from patients. Octozi exists to give that time back.

After years inside healthcare organizations, the founders saw the same pattern: scheduling, billing, and compliance lived in separate systems that did not communicate. Front-desk staff bridged the gaps manually, taking insurer calls, tracking credentialing renewals in spreadsheets, and chasing claims that should never have needed chasing.

That observation became Octozi: a single agent handling scheduling, billing, and compliance. It learns patterns specific to each practice and surfaces only exceptions that need a human decision.

We closed a $1M angel round in October 2025 to accelerate engineering and expand our early-access program. We remain a small, focused team.

A clinic front desk where administrative staff manage scheduling and paperwork

Our team

Amit Patel, CEO and Co-Founder of Octozi
Amit Patel
CEO & Co-Founder

Built administrative and operational systems for multi-site health organizations, gaining insight into payer dynamics and the workflow bottlenecks that consume clinic staff time. Amit leads Octozi's product strategy and practice relationships.

Claire Nguyen, CTO and Co-Founder of Octozi
Claire Nguyen
CTO & Co-Founder

With a background in healthcare data interoperability and claims processing, Claire worked on HL7 and FHIR integration for health data pipelines. She approaches back-office automation from the data layer up, shaping how Octozi learns payer-specific billing patterns.

Marcus Webb, Head of Revenue Operations at Octozi

Head of Revenue Operations

Before building automation tools, Marcus ran billing and denial management at regional healthcare networks. He brings a practitioner's judgment to Octozi's product decisions, keeping automation aligned with what billers want off their plates.

Our approach

Focus over breadth

Octozi does scheduling, billing, and compliance, not everything. Mastering three areas matters more than handling ten adequately. We are building a working back-office agent, not a platform.

Auditability over dashboards

Octozi shows each decision and its reason: the claim filed, denial logged, or appointment rerouted. Auditable automation earns trust. We do not conceal it in summaries.

Hours back

Success means hours returned to your team each week. Every product decision begins there. If a feature does not cut practice-level admin time, it does not belong in Octozi.

Build the back-office future with us.

We seek independent practices willing to shape what comes next. A demo is a good starting point.
